We’re back!

After a summer break we are so happy to be back and have a full season bursting with theatre just for you! The sun is out, and we have one last outdoor summer performance for you before we move back into the theatre. Check out the latest updates for our open air Romeo and Juliet below.

As some of you will know, we have also been learning about and fundraising for a more inclusive culture in theatre. Join us on this journey in a theatrical symposium next November! See all upcoming shows on our website.

OPEN AIR

Romeo and Juliet | Globe Berlin

11-12 SEP | Raadhuis de Paauw, Wassenaar

COVID Update:

Great news! Due to the new COVID rules, we can receive more audience members at Globe Berlin’s open air performance of Romeo and Juliet. Please beware that this also means that it is a Corona Entry Pass event, meaning that the 1.5 m rule does no longer apply, though a COVID Certificate is required.

What this means for you? Read about it on our website.

Did you know…

That you can combine this outdoor event with a picknick? The ‘Kaas and Worst’ food truck is there to provide homemade refreshments before and during the performance. And you are invited to bring a hamper full of sandwiches, tea and snacks yourself!

Coming up

Louder is Not Always Clearer | Jonny Cotson
30, 31 OCT +1 NOV | Koninklijke Schouwburg

For the first time since the pandemic started we are so excited to invite a performer all the way from the UK. ‘Louder is Not Always Clearer’ focuses on the importance of connection with others and the struggle to do so affectively.

In a hearing world, Jonny is different. This performance is a bold exposé that highlights those differences. For a hearing audience it is an illuminating and emotional experience. For deaf audience members it is a humorous and at times moving story of one man’s attempt to cope, to fit in, and be accepted.

Tickets are on sale now!

A CALL TO ACTION!

STET No Limits: A Call to Action | Symposium
1 NOV | Theater aan het Spui

Over the last years, British theatre has made leaps of progression for increasing diversity in theatre, in terms of performers and audiences with disabilities.

We want to invite you to join the conversation with us on 1 November. For this exciting symposium you can join both online or in person. You can also get a combiticket for both the Symposium and ‘Louder is Not Always Clearer’!
