Privacy Policy

Your Personal data and STET

In view of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016, we like to inform you what, how and why we collect and keep your personal data for.

Like any organisation we will sometimes ask you for your personal data e.g. if you like to receive our general and/or education newsletters we ask you for your name and email address. We only require those details to send you information on our programmes. In legal terms this means that we have a justified reason for collecting and keeping these data i.e. to inform you about English-language theatre in The Netherlands. We only add these data to our email address lists upon your own request. And we keep them until you decide yourself to unsubscribe from the list. It is an easy process to unsubscribe from these mailings. Just click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter you receive and you will no longer be in our system. Your details will be fully erased and if you like to come back you will have to subscribe once again.

If you book a ticket for one of the STET shows through our provider, we only ask you for your name and email address. We use these data to digitally send you the tickets. Only if we think it necessary we will ask for your telephone number e.g. if there is a risk of cancellation of an open-air performance due to weather conditions. We will only keep your data for a reasonable time with a maximum of three months after the performance to send you an audience survey and/or other feedback. However, we may keep them longer if you have indicated that you like to receive information on similar performances or re-runs in the future. Another reason for keeping your details is that you have indicated you like to receive (one of our) newsletters (see above).

If for any reason you like to know which data we have on file from you or if you feel that your rights are not protected as well as you would like to see, please contact STET on
