The Steadfast Tin Soldier is a faithful retelling of Hans Andersen's masterpiece.

A boy is given a present of 12 tin soldiers on Christmas Day. One soldier is different from the rest. So begins the story of a very special toy and his extraordinary journey.

British puppeteer and visual artist Rod Burnett brings this story vividly to life with clockwork toys, hand carved puppets, live music and atmospheric lighting. This is a spellbinding performance for all ages, raising questions about love, danger, growing older and how extraordinary things can happen in the imagination. A unique opportunity to have a native speaker performing a puppetry show for young children.

The Guardian:
“The children were wide-eyed and open-mouthed at the story of the tin soldier with only one leg. “
