Into the unknown workshop (16 – 99 yrs)

Two-day improvisation workshop based on improvisation and creation by Lucy Hopkins (UK)

Good news, Lucy Hopkins returns to The Hague to further dive into the art of improvisation and creation, to the joy of many! This workshop uses the principles of excellent performance: listening to the audience, one another and oneself, following impulses and responding to what is happening in the room to gain insight into how we recreate every day of our lives with movement.

By starting from who we are, working with what we’ve got and trying honestly to connect with an audience we can reignite the joy to be found in playing together and also identify blocks to expression that might be tripping us up along our path. Constantly guided by the audience, and the admittedly self-appointed ambassador of the audience Lucy Hopkins, this is a learning environment that is warm, honest and full of laughter where we can marvel at what happens when we give space to the unique, beautiful idiot within us all.

“Lucy is an incredibly nurturing Teacher who will push you to surprise yourself while diving in…”
