Illyria last performed this terrific play ten years ago; the production was Critic’s Choice in Edinburgh, attracted 5-star reviews in Canada and received a nomination for Best of Fringe in Vancouver. Practical Information

  • Picnic Feel free to bring a hamper full of sandwiches, tea and snacks to have your own picnic during the show. Doors will open at 17:30 to allow time to have a picnic before
  • Weather The show goes on… Rain or shine the show will go on so we advise all visitors to bring practical clothing and waterproofs just in case. Umbrellas are not allowed during the performance.
  • Running time (approx): 2hrs 20mins (including 20 minute interval).
  • Suitability Illyria performs the original Shakespeare play UNCUT on an Elizabethan-inspired stage. Please be aware therefore that this might not be the best event for young children. Read more here
  • Parking is available but limited so we ask guests to arrive by bicycle if possible. Thank you!

Accessibility

  • The site is wheelchair accessible although please be aware that the show takes place on a grass field. There is an accessible toilet on site. If you want to visit this event by wheelchair, please contact our production manager Berta Cussó at production@theenglishtheatre.nl so we can make your visit as comfortable as possible.
