Vincent Bendervoet is well-established within the Dutch theatre scene; having been involved in productions since early 2009. After following four years of actor training at the Theaterschool de Trap, Bendervoet had his first professional performance at 17 with the Toneelgroep Amsterdam. Growing up visually impaired, Bendervoet attended both a regular primary school and a specialised school for blind and visually impaired students.

Together with Caroline van Heijst and Daphne Verweij, Vincent founded the theatre company BenderenHeijst. They describe their company as being “inclusive. That means that with our disability-led group we ensure theatre that is accessible to everyone; with or without limitation.”
