Het Zwarte Schaap International Festival

A spoken word festival for all black sheep in this world

Please be aware that this event has been postponed to May 22 and 23

Curated by Daniëlle Zawadi, winner of the 2020 Unwanted Words BIPOC Voice Award as part of the 1st Queer & Feminist Awards. The spoken word platform Het Zwarte Schaap won the Audience Award 2020 of the Haagse C.

Daniëlle Zawadi of the platform Het Zwarte Schaap (The Black Sheep) has been commisioned to curate a three day event of poetry and spoken word performances. We are looking forward to see (semi) professional poets taking the stage to create a unique festival full of inspiration and thought provoking ideas, transformed into spoken word performances. Het Zwarte Schaap offers a platform to stories that are unheard and creates a safe environment for all who like to share their story on the night – especially to those who feel themselves to be black sheep.
