Ashley Ramsden in Dickens' Classic Tale returns to The Hague for the fifth year...

Ashley performs the story single handedly and it shows his formidable talents as a story-teller and actor. The program embraces the original masterpiece, transporting audiences back to Victorian England and conjuring up the sinister back alleys, cobblestone streets, and ghostly apparitions that are the story’s hallmarks. In the past years, audiences, Dutch and non-Dutch alike, listened mesmerized to the story that is still relevant today in a world where there is a gulf in the distribution of wealth, influence and knowledge.

TUSK’s latest performance, in co-operation with OperaDans

 

A beautiful show that takes you to the heart of Christmas Spirit – Three sparkling, funny but thought provoking Yule time tales from the US, Germany and Spain will get you in the mood for that most special time of the year. But the stories themselves are not the only attractions for this performance: singer Nicole Jordan from OperaDans joins TUSK actors Ellis van Maarseveen and Lionel Leewin, together with two musicians,to offer you this festive start to your Christmas Holidays.

Rumi, Voice of the Heart

a voice of tolerance in a turbulent world…

Ashley Ramsden has performed Rumi’s poetry and stories all over the world. He brings Rumi’s words and spirit alive in a way that many people have found deeply moving, even transforming.  This unique performance convinces audiences why Rumi’s inspired words are more relevant than ever, even 800 years after his birth.
Ramsden will be accompanied by Robby Alberga on guitar.
