Information
Three young graduates from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London have been invited to The Netherlands by the English Theatre STET to perform their graduation solo –pieces.

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama is one of the top Drama and Music Schools in Great Britain. Amongst its alumni it counts Daniel Craig, Ewan McGregor, Jodie Whitaker and Joseph Fiennes. These performances offer a unique opportunity to see three young award winning artists perform at the outset of their career. The monologues were written and directed by the actors themselves as part of their final examination requirements.

Patrick Osborne -  Nominee Spotlight Award 2010
The Mobius Strip  Central to this monologue is the relationship between two brothers, Jack and Lloyd, whose lives have drifted apart. Intertwined with a fascinating exposé about the different virtues of Art and Science it offers an insight in the balances we make between the unconditional love we feel for our families and the sense of loss when that love seems to have evaporated.

Paloma Oakenfold  - Winner of the Michael Bryant Award 2010
I Don't Tell Him You're a Whale Angel  A story about Corrine, a 17-year old South London girl from an abusive family. She talks to her deceased sister, who died together with their father in a tragic car accident 5 years ago. Stuck in feelings of guilt and fear, Corrine struggles to find her worth as a human being and accept love from others.

Marene Vanholk  - High Commendation Michael Bryant Award 2010
The Red Carpet On the eve of the closure of the take-over of the ABN-AMRO by the RBS-led Consortium, one of the main advisors is confronted with a decision that will define her career. This moral dilemma examines the classic struggle between heart and mind when we have to choose what we truly believe in. She will be collaborating with Drew Balch on the viola (winner London International Concerto Competition 2007)
